Launched in 1985, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is now the largest jazz festival of the sentence on the west coast, with 90,000 visitors expected this weekend. Once home to the jazz clubs that hosted legends such as Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie, Fillmore district of San Francisco remains a hot spot on the map of jazz. Performers include local blues legend Bobby Webb, reggae act and indigenous elements of gospel quartet harmony.
