If you have not paid attention to the Twitter account @ OldSpice not know what I miss. Another example of a viral campaign is absolutely brilliant as a child riding topless Old Spice, better known as Isaiah Mustafa. And the best part is that not only interact online with celebrities like Alyssa Milano and George Stephanopoulos. If you have a question or if you have a comment, you could be the next video of Old Spice. Without warning, Mustafa began to create the "home" his character Videos Old Spice, pointing directly to their fans on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter followers commentators. They decided to all vote for Kiptyn’s elimination, knowing the insiders would vote for Craig M., leading to a 5-5 tie, with Gia handing down the deciding vote, which she promised would be for Kiptyn.At the rose ceremony, things got awkward when Harrison started asking pointed questions about how everyone was dealing with the game. Less talk, more hot tub!. Uh, yup. 5.4.3.2.Pie-eating contest! For this week’s challenge, the guys and girls, separately, competed in a good ol’ fashioned pie-eating contest.Krisily, another one of the outsiders, immediately bowed out of the competition in tears, explaining to Chris Harrison that she doesn’t have a gall bladder so would probably end up in the hospital from all the fat she couldn’t digest. “I might as well use her,” I believe were his actual words.Natalie and Jesse B. The Weatherman took an early lead and Chris was all “forecasting a victory” down on Jonathan’s end of the table. Let’s see how long that lasts. David was annoyed by this and thought she should just suck it up. Krisily overhead everything and told Kiptyn that Jessie was “malicious” and not to be trusted.With visions of Gia’s smile dancing in his head, Jesse talked himself out of his relationship with Natalie by asking her if she’s “made the rounds” with the rest of the guys in the house. He agreed to it and selected Gwen, Peyton and Ashley.On the Weatherman’s date, he and the ladies painted with their bodies. “That confidence is awesome!” said Ashley. “This is brutal to watch,” said Kiptyn as the gals one by one puked up the dessert.Eventually, with Wes’ coaching, Gia won.When it was the guys’ turn (and by the way, did they eat off of the same vomit-y tablecloth the girls had just used?), they quickly discovered that the biggest can’t automatically eat the most. “I probably made a mistake but morally, I did the right thing.” The right thing morally because you lied to your friends or because you’re emotionally cheating on your boyfriend–which one is it?Back at the house, Jessie S. She was sad about it, but said she found love in the house with David and hoped that it was for real and could continue on after the show. They’re all friends, have hooked up and consider themselves the “cool crowd.”And then there are the “outsiders,” including Peyton, Gwen, Nikki.all the girls you see on screen and are like, “Wait, who’s that again?” Also, Gia. started the episode off strong, making out and heavy petting all over the wicker furniture, but then some things happened, which we’ll get to.Also, as far as alliances go, the house almost immediately divided into two right after the first eliminations. he’d get the rose. She thought he should have brought Krisily instead.For her date, Gia immediately picked Wes and Craig M. But what the other houseguests didn’t know was that Gia wrote Jesse B.’s name on every piece of paper she put in the bowl. on their side and Gia vowed to give him the rose on her date.Back on the Weatherman’s date, he sat down with Peyton and Ashley one by one and explained the outsiders’ strategy. Elizabeth said the pie tasted like throw up, which is probably why Tenley could keep eating it after she literally threw up into tin. told David she wanted to play the game as a double agent, spying on the outsiders but working with the insiders. All this strategy talk is so boring, though. There are the “insiders,” which include Elizabeth, Tenley, Natalie, David, Kiptyn and Jesse K. This bummed her out. And she got Wes to confess his undying love for her by giving him a hand massage. “I just messed up the whole game plan,” Gia said. She promised Craig M. She turned Jesse B. And he did eventually win.Do producers really have to make everyone do their post-pie-eating interviews with the pie still actually on their faces? How does that advance the story they’re trying to tell?Anyway! With Gia and the Weatherman holding roses, Gia explained the “outsider” strategy to Jonathan, invited him into the fold, then encouraged him to bring some of the outsiders on his date to keep them safe. “When I think about you, I’m like happy.I’ve had this infatuation.I love you.” Like, wow, right? He looked pretty wasted while he was saying it but still.And what was Gia’s response to the cameras? “My head is telling me one thing, but my heart is telling me another.” Remember, she has a serious boyfriend back home (THIS GUY).When it came time to hand out the rose, despite all her big plans with the outsiders, Gia gave it to Wes instead of Craig M. Ashley wasn’t so sure because she’s friends with Elizabeth and Tenley.With Gwen, Jonathan tried to get romantic and in the end, he gave her the rose. He told her to do what she felt was right so of course, she flipped her vote and voted for Craig M., sending him home and confusing the outsiders who thought they had the vote in the bag.Joining Craig M. against Natalie almost immediately by simply smiling at him. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that he’s making out with someone new by next week.Also next week, Nikki will be dealing with the fallout from not voting with the outsiders. “I’m crazy about you.you’re smart, you’re witty, you’re quick.I wish the circumstances were different,” Wes told Gia. The ladies were kind of digging him!Back at the house, there was a pretty people orgy in the hot tub while the outsiders talked strategy. This involved Jonathan wearing a Speedo. They decided they needed Craig M. This time? I’m pretty sure he brought his own. When she was totally upfront about it (she kind of has, yes), he told her he’d just rather be friends. He thought it was a good idea and they sealed it with a sloppy kiss. She wanted him to come along because she felt like he was sort of on the fence between the insiders and outsiders.Gia flirted her way through all her one-on-one time with her guys. They’re friends and he knew that she was struggling with the choice to play the game or protect him. So he stopped avoiding Elizabeth’s advances and they did it in the shower. This made Krisily an easy target for elimination consideration.The rest of the ladies and their impossibly flat stomachs were up first. Peyton was totally on board. Gia included herself in the outsiders because she has a serious boyfriend and didn’t want to get swept up in the hormonal aspect of the game. Then she said she really didn’t care who the third guy was and so would pick his name out of a bowl. How orange is that girl?To make up for her mistake (but morally correct decision) of giving Wes the rose, Gia tried to figure out a new plan for the outsiders to gain traction in the house. Tenley basically called out Elizabeth for doing it with Kovacs, then everyone started saying that everyone else was saying stuff behind everyone else’s backs. Remember the last time the show tried to get him into a teeny bikini? He wasn’t having it. With premiere episode niceties out of the way, Monday night’s episode of Bachelor Pad was all about how people were going to screw each other–both figuratively and literally!Jesse K., who is now apparently going by just “Kovacs,” realized after almost being eliminated last week that being in a relationship in the house is actually better for his strategy. in the loser limos was Jessie S. Unfortunately for him, she told the cameras nothing would ever happen between them “in a million years.” Real nice.Because Ashley didn’t get the rose, this made her less sure about joining up with the outsiders.When Jonathan got back to the house, Gia confronted him about bringing Ashley on his date at all because Gia knew that Ashley didn’t like Jonathan and would never come over to their side.

Unlike most other issues (such as health care), energy legislation is a true state commerce issue. The idea that Obama could pass comprehensive energy legislation was a media fantasy from the beginning. Representatives from states that rely on fossil fuels for employment of their populations cannot get on board for that kind of legislation no matter what their party. For once, Congress is fulfilling their role as representatives and doing the right thing by avoiding such legislation. Furthermore, until green energy comes with a real jobs agenda instead of fantasy jobs (and no guarantees about which states would get those jobs) local legislators are doing what is right and proper to resist federal attempts to put in place genuine (as opposed to rhetorical) job-killing policies. Democrats in West Virginia for instance, who support a lot of the President’s agenda, cannot get elected or keep their jobs if they support things like cap and trade. Generic environmental legislation that does not guarantee a real solution to climate change and more jobs (as well as ensuring that the U.S. does not end up at a competitive disadvantage with the countries that refuse such legislation such as China, India and Russia) and that does not raise utility prices on a beleagured populace is an unrealistic goal.
