Remember the movie, “Honey I Shrunk the Kids”? That was an interesting aspect of a dysfunctional family with a scientist at the helm. Not a real one, anyways, where a shrinking gun is concerned, since a team of engineers at the Southeast University in Nanjing, China, managed to come up with a device that will make a real spoon look smaller than it is in the virtual space..

There arent very many good entries, and some of the the ones that are passable – Im looking at you, – are barely prequels at all. There arent very many good prequels out there. Many localized acidification hotspots can be traced to local contributors of acidity that can be addressed using existing laws, they wrote. Coastal communities hard hit by ocean acidification hotspots have more options than they may realize, says an interdisciplinary team of science and legal experts. In a paper published in the journal Science, experts from Stanford University’s Center for Ocean Solutions and colleagues make the case that communities don’t need to wait for a global solution to ocean acidification to fix a local problem that is compromising their marine environment.
