Cincinnati has confirmed what hasn’t really been much of a secret: That its head football coach Brian Kelly is leaving the Bearcats to become the new coach at Notre Dame. Sources report that Kelly will forego coaching Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl game against the Florida Gators. Instead, Kelly will get a head start on the formidable task of rebuilding the sagging major college football program of one of the nation’s most prestigious universities. Good luck with that, Brian.
